Trip Tips and Suggestions

  • Sea Sickness

It’s a bumpy ride sometimes…well, most times frankly. If you are prone to motion sickness, know that you do get sea sick, or if you are unsure…it is advised that you take some medication. From experience, Dramamine Original formula is very effective, Dramamine non-drowsy formula is NOT EFFECTIVE. Scopolamine is also very effective but is prescription only. Trips can be terminated if guests request it due to sea sickness, however…refunds will not be available. It’s best to error on the side of caution and enjoy your trip…sea sickness is no fun.

  • Food and Drinks

Please feel free to bring a lunch and any beverages you would like. At this time we do not provide any food or drinks on our trips (except water). Please do not bring any glass on the boat, plastic or aluminum only. There is small insulated cooler we use for drinks, but you may also bring a small personal cooler. Space is limited, so please be sensible.

  • Toilet

The toilet we have available is rudimentary, but located inside of the cabin and can be used with complete privacy. However, it is very basic and reserved for women, children, or emergencies. Think camping toilet, no flush. For the grown-up guys, we encourage the “over the rail” method.

Your Captain is working hard!

Tipping is not expected, but it is certainly extremely appreciated. Capt. Walker typically does not use a deckhand, so everything is a one man show.

You are unlikely to find a more relentless, driven, and persistent Captain in the charter fishing fleet. He will not stop trying to find your fish, and is willing to push his tackle, his boat, and his skills to their limits, for every trip…every time.
